Jaspreet Grewal
CEO & Founder
Jaspreet Grewal is an accomplished clinician and researcher bringing nearly 20 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry. Throughout her career, she has held various positions with increasing responsibilities in a variety of healthcare roles resulting in a broad skill set and robust healthcare and investment network while working in Canada, US, UK and Bermuda.
Jaspreet holds a Masters in Clinical Vision Sciences from Georgetown University, an Executive Certificate in Public Health from Harvard University and an Executive MBA from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is passionate about assisting Life Science companies to move their companies from molecule to market, injecting strategic capital and building strong partnerships.
In addition to her role as CEO at Venn Consulting, Jaspreet is a Board Director with BioAlberta, Entrepreneur in Residence at Innovate Calgary (Medical Cannabis and Regulatory), Global LifeSciences Consultant with Calgary Economic Development, External Advisor to the Vi Riddell Pain & Rehabilitation Centre at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, and CEO and Co-Founder of Knowde Group, a Contract Research Organization.
Sabrina Ramkellawan
Senior Consultant
Sabrina Ramkellawan started her career as a registered nurse working in emergency and intensive care settings, pediatrics, mental health as well as outpatient community nursing. Her experience working in the areas of infectious disease has contributed to her knowledge of implementing safety precautions, SOPs and protocols. In addition, Sabrina has 20 years of experience conducting clinical trials in various settings including academic institutions and hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and leading operations at global contract research organizations.
Sabrina is experienced in phase I-IV clinical trials and her speciality areas include devices and vaccine studies (H1N1 vaccine clinical trials and Ebola vaccine support). She has helped to bring many novel drugs, biologics, generic drugs, cannabinoids, plant-based medicine, natural products, devices, drug/device combinations to market globally. Her expertise in the Life Sciences field has helped many companies bring their drugs throughout the various clinical trials and regulatory approvals and eventually to market.
Sabrina has experience managing hospital departments and also building medical organizations. Her understanding of the inner workings of hospitals, medical organizations, supply chain management and medical reimbursement is instrumental in supporting medical market access and relationships.
She is the President of the Clinical Research Association of Canada which supports research education and events with a following of 7000+ Researchers across Canada and the US. Sabrina has established an expansive network of experienced professionals, and industry relationships cultivated throughout her career.
